Summer is usually kids’ favourite time of year — but not so for parents! It can be tricky finding activities to keep your little ones occupied during this time off from school. Other than days by the neighbourhood parkl or trips to the hill stations, what can you do to bring some excitement into the seemingly endless summer vacations?

1)Educate your child about the festivals and culture through crafts. This again will be very interesting fr your kids. 2) Try to revamp your child’s bedroom the way he/she wants. This is a wonderful idea as he/she would also be careful to keep his room neat and tidy. The best way to encourage you child is by taking pride in their work. This way you give them a new room too.

3) Crafting with her favourite dolls! So all you have to do is fill up a light coloured sock and her as a doll, you could help her make outfits from your old sarees, bedsheets or curtains.

4)Crafting with the food:- Is your child fascinated about what happens in the kitchen? Then let his creative juices do something innovative. How about teaching them how to make something healthy like a roll or a salad?

5) Is your child’s birthday somewhere between the holidays? Then tell them to make there own invitation cards. This can be super fun with again having a touch of warmth in them. Give them the freedom to design them in any way, maybe in there favourite frictional character etc.
